- Guidelines -
• Container size not to exceed three feet in any dimension.
Display space is limited, please inquire about available
display space at the time of you’re application.
• Only live plant materials may be used.
• Categories to include: Vegetable, Herbs, Mixed Annuals,
Mixed Perennials, Shrubs and Houseplants.
• Plants are to be the primary focus. Outside the Box
creative containers are encouraged.
• Plant material should consist of a number of varieties
and/or species, as opposed to a massed planting of one type.
• Sun-shade, moisture and soil requirements should be the
same for all plants used in a single exhibit.
• Each container must be accompanied by a 4”x 6” laminated sign.
Signs must indicate the plants used and lighting conditions required
by the plant material (i.e. full sun/shade/ partial shade).
On the reverse side of your sign, please put your name and
the name of your business or organization.
• Planted containers should be well established and capable of
holding up under the conditions of the Bangor Auditorium.
• Individual and Professional Entries should be dropped off on
Thursday, April 5, 2012 between the hours of 12:00 noon and
7:00 P.M. and picked up on Sunday afternoon, April 8, 2012
immediately after the close of the show at 4:00 P.M.
• Bangor’s Garden Show makes every effort to protect the property
of those working or attending the show, but disclaims any liability for
loss, theft, damage, or injury sustained while the show is in progress
or during set-up or tear down.
• Ribbon Awards for 1st - 3rd place in each category will be
given after a People’s Choice judging.
Outside the Box creative containers are encouraged.
Awards include placement ribbons and garden tools!
