Kids Grow, Too

Description

Kids Grow Too! encouraging curious kids who love to get their hands dirty.

Recognizing originality, horticultural, composting, recycling, presentation, educational value and quality of work for grade level.

Mindful of gardening, recycling and composting projects that instill in Kids -- lifelong gardening, recycling and composting practices.

Experiences that heighten awareness of the importance of beautification and the environment.

Kids Grow Too! 2008 Classroom Project :

  • Plant and grow a container garden. One per classroom.
  • Containers should be no larger than 3 feet in any dimension.
  • Your container should be recycled or recyclable.
  • Help is available from your library.
  • All entrants will receive a certificate of recognition
  • Teachers should act as advisors.
  • Projects are done entirely by students.
  • Props are permissible.

There will be recognition for each participating school and each child will receive a certificate. Your class is also invited to be our special guests to the show on Friday, April 7, from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.
