get their hands dirty.
Recognizing originality, horticultural, composting,
recycling, presentation, educational value and
quality of work for grade level.
Mindful of gardening, recycling and composting
projects that instill in Kids -- lifelong gardening,
recycling and composting practices.
Experiences that heighten awareness of the importance
of beautification and the environment.
Kids Grow Too! 2008 Classroom Project
:
- Plant and grow a container garden. One per
classroom.
- Containers should be no larger than 3 feet
in any dimension.
- Your container should be recycled or recyclable.
- Help is available from your library.
- All entrants will receive a certificate
of recognition
- Teachers should act as advisors.
- Projects are done entirely by students.
- Props are permissible.
There will be recognition for each participating
school and each child will receive a certificate.
Your class is also invited to be our special
guests to the show on Friday, April 7, from 9:00
A.M. until 3:00 P.M.
